Contributions to Vargas for Congress are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.
Federal law requires us to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation and name of employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in a calendar year. Contributions by corporations and foreign
nationals are prohibited. Maximum contribution allowed by law is $3,300 per primary and general elections ($13,200 per couple, $6,600 per person, maximum per two-year election cycle).
