District Attorney Pamela Price ran a grassroots, corporate-free campaign across the entire County, and easily won the election. She is the first truly democratically elected District Attorney in 100 years. Then, came the backlash. After we defeated the opposition, the plutocrats hired PR flacks and paid out-of-towners to collect signatures to try to force a special election. They are trying to buy what they couldn’t democratically win at the ballot box.

We have a short time to defend against this platinum roots funded effort to overturn the election, and show them that Alameda County is not for sale. If these plutocrats who have already spent $3 million dollars to tear down our democracy were serious about public safety, they'd spend their money on housing, education and mental health support for all residents -  all the things we have been fighting for. 

The election deniers and plutocrats blame DA Price for rising crime in Oakland, even when crime is going down in Oakland!
